Blessed to Be a Blessing is an annual church-wide service project in which members of Johnson Street fill a box with food purchased from a provided list then deliver it to an individual or family in our community. Each year we are able to bless hundreds of community members with this free box of food to help kick start their holiday season. If you would like to participate this year by filling up or delivering a box or two, please call or come by the church office anytime during regular office hours.
Saturday, November 15th - We will meet in the Family Center Gym at 9:00am to sort through grocery items, complete the fill of each box, tape them up, and stack them along the wall for delivery on Sunday.
Sunday, November 16th - We need lots of people to help deliver boxes on Sunday after the worship service. You can go to the Family Center Lobby to pick up your delivery address(es) and instructions, then drive your vehicle around the back of the building by the offices to head down the alley way. Members of our youth group will load your vehicle up with your delivery items then one of our Shepherds will pray over you before you head out for your deliveries.
