Rust Street MinistriesRust Street Ministries This ministry is a place for individuals and families living in the San Angelo area to find help with basic needs and life skills. The programs of Rust Street Ministries are designed to contribute to the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical needs of the community. Bob Knox is the director of Rust Street Ministries. Kelly Timms is the administrative assistant for the minstry. CHRISTIAN SERVICE CENTER The Christian Service Center provides temporary assistance with clothes, food, household items, and furniture. Kelly Timms is the coordinator for the Center. Ann Harlow is the assistant coordinator and oversees the food pantry. CHRISTIAN LIFE CENTER The Christian Life Center provides services to families and individuals in need of support, counseling, and life skills. Counseling, parent and family skills, support for ex-offenders and persons with addiction problems, and life skills training for those who need help getting their lives back on track are all part of this center. CHRISTIANS AGAINST SUBSTANCE ABUSE (CASA) CASA began in partnership with the local parole office providing faith based training in dealing with addictive behavior and the consequences of that behavior. Anyone struggling with addiction issues is welcome to attend this class. It meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. The program is a teaching twelve step program. The vision is to move people from being SELF-CENTERED to being GOD-CENTERED. Each month a different step is explored in an effort to encourage the application of the step and how it impacts life as a whole.
